Megan and Andrew were married on an idyllic November day at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Chicago! Their wedding was my first time photographing at St. Alphonsus, and it has quickly become one of my favorite churches. The teal doors made a beautiful backdrop for bride and groom portraits, the interior has such a classic, timeless design, and (fun fact I know because of Megan) the aisle is the second longest in Chicago!
These two have been a part of each other’s lives since high school, dating in college, and making the move to Chicago after graduation to start their lives together, along with their sweet puppy, Joey. Their wedding ceremony was moving and beautiful, as family and friends came together to celebrate day one of their marriage.
After the ceremony, we took time for wedding party & bride and groom portraits near the Wrigley Building and along the Magnificent Mile downtown. We were lucky enough to have Joey join us for a few! The evening ended at the Holiday Inn Chicago-Mart Plaza in River North, where Megan, Andrew, and their guests, laughed and cried during heartfelt toasts, and danced the night away.
Megan and Andrew, you two are kind, smart, and successful. You’re grounded in the deep roots provided by your close families, and you have a lot of life and love to look forward to together. It was an honor to spend time with you all & be part of this gorgeous Chicago wedding day!
